Tickets on the door
We’d like you to buy tickets in advance, so we get you information about Uncharted in a timely fashion. But we will be selling tickets at the door, both for the two days and for individual days.
If you want to attend Uncharted, but can’t afford the tickets, we are offering scholarships. Just fill in the form here. We’re also looking for a few more volunteers to help with Uncharted. Let us know.
In festival spirit, Uncharted will be held in a variety of venues in downtown Berkeley. Our main program will be held at the Berkeley Repertory Theatre, both on the main Roda Theatre and in smaller, more intimate—and interactive—studios.
There will also be talks and hangouts at the Freight & Salvage Coffeehouse across the street.
The Friday night Uncharted party will be at the Berkeley Art Museum.
Transportation & Parking
The Berkeley Rep is just around the corner from the downtown Berkeley BART station. If you’re bicycling to the festival, free bike parking is available in the Center Street Garage, across the street from the theatre, and in the BikeStation on Friday.
Hotel Shattuck Plaza, a short walk from Uncharted’s venues, is offering a discount of 17% off rack rates for Uncharted festivalgoers. Discount applies until rooms are sold out, so book early to ensure availability.
Online: visit www.hotelshattuckplaza.com, enter your dates, select “book now,” click “Preferred/Corporate Rate Accounts,” and enter code UNCHARTED.
Cancellation policy: 24 hours prior to arrival.
Uncharted is a festival, not a conference. We encourage you to dress casually and comfortably. In case you didn’t know, Berkeley isn’t particularly a coat-and-tie kind of place.
